As you may recall, we’ve written about the 2019 Avalon once before back when it was still in the development phase and not quite ready for the streets of Long Island. At that point, when we visited the topic we explained how the 2019 Avalon had been created with Toyota’s New Global Architecture Platform (TNGA), as well as how it was the first of Toyota’s fleet to be completely engineered on home soil. We also briefly touched on the mid-size sedan’s mileage and amenities, but we’re happy to be able to say today that we’ve got a lot more exciting information for you!
The 2019 Avalon makes a dramatic statement inside and out, and we here at Westbury Toyota are more than happy to share everything we know with you about this flagship member of the Toyota family. With this in mind, here's all the details you need to know in order to bring you up to speed with the completely redesigned 2019 Toyota Avalons waiting for you here at Westbury Toyota.
The newest Avalon has a grand total of seven different trim levels, meaning that regardless of your preferences you’ll be able to find a variation of this powerhouse sedan that’s exactly perfect for you. So that you’ll have a better idea of what you’ll be getting in each separate trim level, we’ve laid them out in detail below:
As you can see, whether you want a sedan tailored for practicality, versatility, or luxury, you’ll definitely be able to find what you want in one of the Avalon’s many trim levels.
As you’d expect, there are also different engine specs for different trim levels. While the 2019 Avalon isn’t a performance car, it’s still nice to know that the Avalon is more than ready to get up and go on the roads and highways of Long Island. The XLE, XSE, Limited, and Touring models share the same engine, which is a 3.5-liter (L) V6 engine paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Hybrid XLE, XSE, and Limited models also share the same motor with a 2.5 L 4-cylinder ECVT hybrid engine.
In regard to mileage, the numbers vary but never venture far from being impressive! You can see the mileage for each Avalon trim level listed here:
The moral of the story here? Power, performance, and efficiency are all at your fingertips when you get behind the wheel of a 2019 Toyota Avalon of your own.
It’s pretty obvious from what we’ve detailed here that the newest Avalon is on the road to becoming the best in its class, for very good reason. Across all trim levels it has enough bells and whistles to please almost everyone, and for those concerned about economy and fuel mileage, all three of the Hybrid trims have been rated with more than respectable numbers.
If you think the Avalon might be the right vehicle for you, don’t hesitate to come and see us here at Westbury Toyota. Now that the 2019 Avalon is ready for sale, we’d be more than happy to take the time to match you up with your dream car.
