If you look over all the Toyota Nightshade models, you’ll see that they are mostly based on SE trims. The Nightshade Tacoma is different – it is instead built on the luxe Limited trim, which includes black exterior trim and black leather-trimmed seating. The exterior also features some other upgrades in the form of fog light bezels, Dark Smoke 18-inch alloy wheels, and a black exhaust tip. The front end will attract some more attention with the new darkened chrome grille insert design. In terms of exterior colors, you can expect to see three equally striking options: Windchill Pearl, Midnight Black Metallic, or Magnetic Gray Metallic.
The Tacoma Nightshade will be available in either two-wheel drive (2WD) or four-wheel drive (4WD).
Drivers with a love of cruising the great outdoors – and maybe doing a little exploration on the side – will be ecstatic to hear that the 2021 Tacoma also comes with a Trail Special Edition. In support of all intrepid outdoor adventurers, the Trail comes with a number of useful features, such as increased storage options, and also boasts some components that allow for greater general convenience.
Built based on the SR5, the Tacoma Trail will be available in either the 2WD or 4WD powertrain and comes standard with all-weather floor liners in order to keep the car clean from whatever outside debris you might bring in with you. In order to better tackle rough terrain, the Trail comes equipped with Kevlar All-Terrain tires, and to provide you with an extra helpful bit of versatility, it also has a 120-volt power outlet in the truck bed for those times when you need it most. For those who love getting away from it all to relax and unwind, the Trail comes with a lockable storage bed that includes a drain plug on the driver’s side and insulation, allowing it to easily be used as a cooler.
In terms of appearance, the Trail has four bold exterior colors for you to choose from: Super White, Cement, Army Green, and Midnight Black. To enhance your choice of color, there is also black exterior badging, and the interior features comfortable black seating with eye-catching tan stitching.
The Tacoma has long been a truck associated with hard work, but it is also a truck that people turn to for leisure. Whether you enjoy off-roading or venturing off the beaten path in order to hike, bike, or camp, the Tacoma is the perfect way of arriving at your getaway destination. This has never been truer than it is with the 2021 Tacoma, which offers an impressive total of 33 different configurations. Its list of standard features is considerable, including some of the following:
As you can see, there is not a lot you will not find on the 2021 Tacoma.
The Tacoma has not ruled as a best-selling pickup truck for this long without good reason, and Toyota has decided to take a good thing and make it even better for 2021. While the Tacoma will still be the same dependable, rugged truck it always has been, it is now available with two brand new special editions, and both of them have a bevy of exclusive features, colors, and options that will make driving less of a task and more of an experience.
