Five Christmas Events on Long Island You Won't Want to Miss This Holiday Season

The holiday season is now upon us, and all of Long Island is starting their preparations for festive Christmas celebrations. There are going to be some truly wonderful events taking place, so if you do not want to miss out, you need to plan ahead! Our Westbury Toyota staff have done some searching to find what will be the most incredible, fun-filled, and joyous holiday events taking place on Long Island so that we can share them with you.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Belmont Park

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a progressive rock group that has gone multi-platinum. They are famous for their rousing, progressive take on Christmas classics as well as their own original material. Their 2021 tour is not only a celebration of the season but also a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the album that catapulted them to fame, “Christmas Eve and Other Stories.” This concert is a hard rock/progressive metal holiday tradition that has delighted millions of fans across the world. This is the perfect Christmas event for those who love music and live shows, so be sure to grab your tickets before they sell out!

On Saturday, December 18th, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be playing at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park. The concert will start at 3:00 p.m., and you can find more information about the show here.

Santa Brunch at the Long Island Aquarium

What better way to kick off this heartwarming season of joy than by attending a delectable brunch buffet at the Long Island Aquarium? You and your friends and family can enjoy a truly incredible brunch inside the aquarium’s beautiful Sea Star Ballroom. The brunch isn’t the only thing to look forward to, though – attendees will also be able to make their own holiday keepsake and also get a picture taken with the big man in red himself! Afterward, you can explore the rest of the aquarium and take in all the interesting sights and exhibits.

The Santa Brunch is scheduled for Sunday, December 5th and takes place at 10 A.M, 12:00 P.M., and 2:00 P.M. Reservations are required, so be sure to book yours as soon as possible.

The 42nd Annual Holiday Festival at Stony Brook

For a fun filled afternoon that is perfect for the whole family, why not head on over to Stony Brook on December 5th? The Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO) is putting on this 42nd annual celebration. You will be able to vote for your favorite decorated tree in the Annual Holiday Tree Competition, watch a puppet procession, and appreciate a wonderful holiday train display. There will also be carolers and live music going on before the Holiday Tree Lighting, which will happen at 5:30 P.M. on the Village Green. 2021 Winter Wonderland/Pennsylvania Christmas & Gift Show

This annual overnight Christmas bus trip is full of holiday cheer. You and others will tour around stopping at various towns for shopping and lunch. Your first dinner will take place at Hershey Farm, where you can expect a grand smorgasbord buffet dinner including a baked potato bar, steamed shrimp, a grill station, prime rib, Pennsylvania dutch chicken pot pie, and buttered noodles, just to name a few. After you have eaten your fill you and the rest of the group will head to the American Theatre and watch Winter Wonderland. That’s just what to expect on the first day!

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Wild & Swingin’ Holiday Party

For almost three decades, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s twist on American jazz and swing music has brought joy and excitement to people world-wide. Their incredible talent extends into Christmas music, and this holiday party is a highly anticipated family friendly event. The band will be playing a mixture of traditional Christmas songs as well as some of their own originals in order to deliver a high-energy performance that will have everyone ready to dance. The concert takes place on Wednesday, December 15th at The Paramount in Huntington. Doors open at 6:30 P.M. and the show starts at 8:00 P.M. This will probably sell out fast, so book your tickets now!
