Admission to the Feast of Mother Cabrini is free and all rides are pay one price, with all proceeds going to a number of different local charities.
There’s no better summer send-off than attending a free event full of live music and fireworks. Taking place at Peconic Landing, this event is meant to bring the greater community together and also serve as a thank you for the ongoing support the community has given throughout the year. The music starts at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night, with the fireworks following at 8:15 P.M. If you’re interested in learning more about this celebration, take a minute to visit the official site.
If you have a high appreciation for artisans and artwork, this festival is definitely one you should check out. You’ll find an incredible gallery of unique art on the Great Lawn on Main Street, including jewelry, photography, metal work, ceramics, woodworking, and much more. Many artists will be present and will be happy to answer questions about how they learned their craft, their methods, and their inspiration. Some artists will also take commissions, so if you’re looking for a piece of art that truly reflects you and your tastes, this is the place to be!
